The centre of the fortress is full of bars and a historical market.Camping is in and around the fortress, although there is a large private campsite on the edge of the town, free plastic camping is usually in the car park, again on the edge of townFighting is usually split around the fortress, with a skirmish in the morning followed by a larger battle each day.Fighting is totally different, you can be up against Italians, Germans, Dutch, Spanish, Czechs, Italians! usually around 700 re-enactors take part.
